How to actually get a workout in with your kiddos around
Fitting in a workout while your little one is around may seem impossible, but we’re here to help! We’re sharing our top tips to help you stay calm and sweat on!
As self employed- work from home- mamas to 5 kiddos, we’re no strangers to juggling work, childcare as well as a little bit of movement into our busy days.

And we’re not the only ones struggling. One of the top questions we get from mamas who want to start working out at home is:

“How in the heck can I get a workout in while my little ones are around?”

Sure, we remember back to those pre-kid days when going to the gym or a yoga class was easy breezy. But getting out to a class just isn’t as feasible when you’re trying to balance work-home-family.

Now, we’re the first to admit that working out at home definitely presents some challenges….hello mountain of laundry and clingy, hungry kiddos. And we definitely believe mamas deserve a few minutes of peace and quiet, not to mention a HOT coffee, to themselves while their little ones nap or have quiet time.

Which is why we’re big believers in using their awake time to get your workout in! With a few tricks (aka, snacks 😂) up your sleeve and managing your expectations, you can do it!

Like most things in life, getting started is the most challenging part. The obstacles feel overwhelming at first, but we promise once you get in the habit…and more importantly, your little ones get in the habit of seeing you sweating it out and making exercise a priority, it will start to become much easier.

We’ve even heard from some of our Mama Members, that their little ones actually push them to do MORE exercise when they include their kiddos in their workouts!

So, when you’ve got a minute, grab yourself a coffee and check out this short video of our top tips to help you shift your mindset and start building exercise into your day….with or without the whiny, clingy kids.
