Jo Gale 

Hi! I’m Jo Gale. I’m a movement teacher living in Hamilton, Ontario. I’ve spent the last 8 years learning and teaching various movement modalities including yoga, pilates, strength and dance based movement. And my aim is to make movement accessible, fun, and dynamic for all! 

My own body image journey shifted dramatically after becoming a mother in 2017 prompting me to dive deeper into the Body Positive movement and to become a cheerleader for representation and inclusivity within the wellness community.

I am an advocate for folks to live comfortably in their body and in helping people weave movement practices into their lives, without it coming from a need to CHANGE. I believe passionately that movement is a way to celebrate your body, not change it superficially.

Outside of the studio I enjoy savouring a well made coffee, listening to all kinds of music and cycling around the city.
